Who We Are

                 The SIUE IEEE Student chapter is a student organization consisting of Electrical and Computer Engineering students.  As a group, we hold meetings and go on tours related to our field of engineering.  In addition to events and meetings, we also visit possible employers and have guest speakers visit the campus. 

                 Each year the SIUE chapter participates in the IEEE Region 5 Robotics competition.  We send a team of ECE students to the competition where they compete against other universities.  These students design, create and debug a qualifying robot designed to perform a specific task. 

This Student Chapter is lead by four students and one faculty advisor. 

 

Members do not need to be a member of the global IEEE organization to participate in Student Chapter events, however it is highly encouraged that everyone join.
